He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Martin and Katherine Leis (Greenleaves); his grandson Aydan Leis; and his sister Laura Mae Treese. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kay Deter; his children, Robert C. Leis (Tami) of Shipshewana, Indiana and Lori L. Leis of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Kaeleigh and Morgan; and his siblings, Margaret Pierce of Sturgis, Leonard Jury (Karen) of Ashtabula, Maury Leid of Johnstown and Charles Leis of Sturgis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
