He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jacob and Alma Gene Armey (Longardner); and his brother Ricky Armey. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay Shipe; his children, Samantha Armey (Matt Casner) of Sturgis, Emily Rauguth (Matt) of Elkhart, Indiana, Nicholas Lehman of Boston, Timothy Lehman of Middlebury, Indiana and Jeremy Lehman of Middlebury, Indiana; his grandchildren, Conner, Abigail, Olivia, Natalie, Elliana, Ethen, Tyler and Kaleb; and his siblings, Elizabeth Joy Miller (Kevin) of Burr Oak, David Armey (Sharon) of South Bend, Steve Armey of Fort Wayne, Timothy Armey of Howe and Danny Armey (Linda) of Sturgis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
