He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Scrimger and Barbara Scrimger (Burgess); his brother Lyle Scrimger; his wife Sheree Scrimger; his siblings, Lyn Scrimger (Paula), Philip Scrimger (Marlos), Beva Moir, Beth Gatzke (Duane) and David Scrimger; his children, Joshua Scrimger (Mary), Julie Bytwerk (Corey) and Jamie Scrimger; his stepson Brandon Prince (Katie); and his grandchildren, Liam, Mackenzie, Evan, Olivia, Lydia, Bennett, Daylen, Isaac, Evaline, Elise, Aiden and Grayson.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Good News Kitchen at St John's Lutheran Church.
