It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Martel of Sturgis, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Kozaczewski and Beverly L. Kozaczewski (Meese); and her brother David Kozaczewski. She is survived by: her husband Chuck; her son Kevin Martel (Adriene Kausner) of Mendon; her grandchildren, Jesse Schwartz and Klaus Schwartz; her siblings, Luann Kelly (Thomas) of Grandville, Mary Amidon (David) of Kalamazoo and Stephen Kozaczewski (Jean Kelley) of Sequim; and her nieces, Erin Kelly (Emily Burgess) and Courtney Liljekvist (Josiah).
