Vaughn Whitcomb Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vaughn Whitcomb of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Max and Beverly Lea Whitcomb (Pierson); his brother Brian Lynn Whitcomb; and his nephews, Max Taulbee and Corey Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnson; his children, Korin Whitcomb and Korbin Whitcomb of Sturgis; his siblings, Lynette Taulbee (Jim) of Stanton and Myron Whitcomb (Joanne) of Sturgis; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Johnson of Montague, Jan Opalewski (Don) of Portage, Dave Johnson of Kent City and Les Johnson of Thailand. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oaks Enrichment Center (306 N Franks Ave, Sturgis, MI 49091).
