William Rose Obituary
We announce the death of William Rose of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 73. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew William will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rose and Elsie Rose (Arnold); and his sisters, Marie Rose and Margaret "Margie" Rose. He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph "Bob" Rose, Michael "Mickey" Rose and Jerry Rose; his nibling Thurston Woods; and his close friend Michelle VanWormer. He is also survived by nurses, home care workers.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (300 E South St, Sturgis, MI 49091).
