She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark S. King and Amelia King (Strack); her son James Holmes; and her siblings, Mark King, Ilah McClintic and Mary Evans.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Holmes of Sumner, MI; her daughter Vicky Lougher of Ithaca, MI; her grandchildren, Jennifer James (Lee) of St. Johns, FL and James Holmes (Ashley) of Norfolk, VA; and her great grandchild Danica Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1333 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Pritchard Cemetery N Pingree (5273 Pingree Rd, Elwell, MI 48832).
