Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Cook and Marguerite Cook (Abbott); her son-in-law Mark Bloom; and her grandson Jacob Rickard. She is survived by: her husband James Richard Lee; and her siblings, George Cooke, Larry Cook (Sharon), Jack Cook (Darlene) and Barb Vibbert (Wayne). She is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sumner Center Church of the Nazarene (3100 N Warner Rd, Sumner, MI 48889). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Instead of flowers, Shirley would have appreciated contributions in her memory to her church, the Sumner Center Church of the Nazarene.
