Kenneth Black Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2025, at the age of 67, Kenneth Black (Sunfield, Michigan), born in Jackson, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter McKenna Hoyt; and his father Richard Whidden. He is survived by: his family, Deana Brownlow, Darrell Black and Darla Bloom; his significant other Kathleen Black (Hough); his children, Katrina Hoyt (Brian), Kalvin HoughBlack (Kalyn) and Kelsie Simmon; and his grandchildren, Heaven Letts, Aubrie Hoyt, William Hoyt, Olivia Hoyt, Payton HoughBlack, Addison HoughBlack, Hudson Simmon and Evelyn Simmon. He is also survived by his four siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunfield United Brethren Church (8436 W Grand Ledge Hwy, Sunfield, MI 48890). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the American Legion (731 N Clinton St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
