With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Owen VanHouten of Sunfield, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Houten and Reva Van Houten (Goodenough); his stepmother Ruth; his brother Roy; and his sister-in-law Bonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Holben; his daughters, Cheryl Hall (Chris) and Kimberly Lynn; his granddaughter Elizabeth (Hall); and his siblings, Joan, Joyce, Lee and Judy. He is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews & cousins.
