He was predeceased by: his parents, Domazy Flees and Mary Flees (Steimel); his wife Phyllis Ann Lee; his siblings, Frances Walters, Firman Flees, William Flees, Dorothy Walters and John Flees; his brother-in-law George Brach; and his daughter-in-law Tina Flees.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Herman (Alvin), James Lee Flees and Judy Skowronski (Tom); his sisters, Patricia Brown and Diane Wilson; his grandchildren, Denise Herman, Heather Petras (Shawn), Tiffany Skowronski (Jorge Diaz), Jason Skowronski (Chelsey) and Christopher Skowronski (Katie); his great grandchildren, Kelsie Herman, Kayla Petras, Keegan Petras, Bryce Diaz, Mackenzie Skowronski, Carter Skowronski, Isaiah Skowronski, Leo Skowronski and Jackson Skowronski; and his great great grandchild Logan Anderson.
