It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie A. Marek (Suttons Bay, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Adam Lorenz and Jean Lorenz (Aiello); and her husband Howard Leroy Marek. She is survived by : her sons, Jeffrey Marek and Mark Marek; her grandchildren, Theresa Marek, Jeffrey Marek II, Kyle Marek, Matthew Marek, Sean Marek and Ryan Marek; her great grandchildren, Issac and Gemma; her brother Richard Lorenz; her nephew Michael Lorenz; and her pet Brandey.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (498 W 1st St, Suttons Bay, MI 49682).

Memorial donations may be made in Marie's honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
