He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Frank and Margie Lee Houck (Brown); and his brother Daniel Michael Houck. He is survived by: his wife Leia; his children, Anastacia Guimaraes Houck, Holly Ann Guimaraes Houck (David), Naiara Kimberly Melo Houck, Daniel Edward Houck and Dale Harold Houck; his grandson Davi; and his brothers, Robert Houck (Tonya) and James Houck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
