He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Monroe and Peggy Jerome; his stepmother Peggy Monroe; and his parents-in-law, Ken Scheitler and Mary Scheitler.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Monroe; his children, Jaime Winstead (Dave), Ken Monroe (Molly) and Sarah Thomas (Matt); his grandchildren, Brooke Winstead, Madison Winstead, David Winstead and Landon Thomas; his siblings, Debbie Rice (Mike), Diane Szabad (Richard), Denae Higham (John), Dawn Smith (Dennis), Darrell Monroe, Karen Hartel and Sherry (Bob); and his pet Reagan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
