She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gibson and Doris Gibson (Holloman). She is survived by: her husband Michael Strauss; her sons, Richard Strauss (Erin) and Ryan Strauss (Samantha); her grandchildren, Alaina (Jacob), Evan (Nicole), Sarah (Thomas), Haleigh, Reid, Kollin and Keagan; her great grandchild Riley; her siblings, Rick Gibson, Cathy Devine and Dee Dee Langley; her nephew Sam Russian; and her siblings-in-law, Rick Strauss (Mary), Kelly Emigh (Ken) and Loanne Russian (James). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
