He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Purcell and Marjorie Purcell (Bedford); and his siblings, Bob, Jack, Tom and Joyce Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Jill H. Burgess; his children, Matthew (Theresa), Cheyenne and Mitchell; his grandchildren, Natalie Carr (Austin), Maria Sarkon (Cole), Halle Purcell, Hartley Purcell and Gianna Purcell; and his brother Dennis Purcell (Cathy) of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Buzz's memory to Catholic Charities of Flint.
