He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hayes and Jenia Hayes (Souther); his wife Joanne Transou; and his son-in-law Steven Winn. He is survived by: his children, Sandra L. Winn, Cathy A. Sudborough and Eddie S. Hayes; his granddaughters, Melissa Van Petten (Tony), Laura Fortune (Justin) and Alexandria Thomas (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Noah and Leah; and his pet Lexi. He is also survived by 4 brothers; 3 sisters; several nieces and nephews.
