He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Schultheis and Ada Schultheis (Edgar); his spouse Fay Ikerd; his sister Gertrude Braddock (Homer); and his siblings-in-law, Chad, Dale, Gene, Larry Ikerd, Carroll Moore and Mary Ikerd.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Schultheis of Swartz Creek, Carol Higgins (Gary) of Corunna and Scott Schultheis (Tina) of Midland; his grandchildren, Eric Higgins, Kelly Norton (Ryan), Anna Schultheis and Emily Schultheis; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Ikerd of Wichita, Allen Ikerd of Swartz Creek, Gladys Ikerd of Bloomington, Indiana and Donna Moore of Bloomington, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring can direct memorial contributions to the Swartz Creek Lions Club or Swartz Creek Area Historical Society.
