He is survived by: his wife Bethany Adele Klamert; his children, Gerald K. Hawkins II (Paula) of Petosky, Laura Berry (Louie) of Howell and Angela Dishaw of Lakeview; and his brother John Hawkins (Kathy) of Durand. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
