He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Klein and Mary Eileen Klein (Sutter); his siblings, Robert Klein and Diane Smith; his siblings-in-law, Richard Swanson, Sally Klein, Theresa Klein, Doug Graham and Donald Kaczmarek; his niece Mary Brecht; and his nephew Matthew Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Klein (Kaczmarek); his children, David Klein (Stacey), Jodie Klein and Julie Klein; his grandchildren, Christian, Stephen, Marek, Anna, Aidan and Sutton; his siblings, Janet Graham, Carolyn Cameron (David) and Donald Klein; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Kaczmarek and David Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church (4413 Morrish Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473).
He joined the Knights of Columbus in 1968 which furthered in him a life of charity and giving.
