He was predeceased by : his parents, Marcus King and Myrtle King (Conrad); his spouse Ilo Flewelling; and his children, Randall King and Rhonda King.

He is survived by : his children, Valerie Dow (Robert) of Swartz Creek, Marcus King (Shellie) of Mt. Holly, NC and Dawn King of Swartz Creek; his grandchildren, Jackie Allen, Ashley Goss (Mandy), Zachary King (Chelsea), Kylie King and Kimberly Dow; his great grandchildren, Kelynd King, Maesyn King, Jentry King and Beckett Goss; and his siblings, Harold King, Priscilla Beard, Larry King (Pat) and Peggy Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
