She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Daniel H. Sheeran and Rita Mary Sheeran (McGinnis); her husband Charles Gafney; and her siblings, Dan Sheeran and Brigid Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Gafney (Diane) of Plymouth, WI and Jennifer Roy (Charles) of Flushing; her grandchildren, Corby, Keegan Gafney, Isabella and KC Roy; her brothers, Nick Sheeran (Jill) of Ft. Lauderdale and Michael Sheeran of Saginaw; and her siblings-in-law, Shelia Gafney (Pat), Maryann McElheron and John Gafney (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church (701 Church St, Flint, MI 48502).
