He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McAfee and MaryLee McAfee (Thomas); his wife Debby McAfee (Smith); his brother Larry McAfee; his sister-in-law Elaine McAfee; his parents-in-law, Jack Smith and Maxine Smith; and his brother-in-law Jim Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Carrie Clark (McAfee) and Ryan McAfee (Dana); his grandchildren, Madison, Jaxen, Austyn Clark, Tori, Miles McAfee, Alexia Planer, Alex, Austin and Ella Maiberger; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Kingsbury (Colin) and Karey Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
