It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Elaine Martin of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Vassar, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Briggs and Hortense Briggs (DeCou); her husband Melvin D. Martin; and her siblings, Donald Briggs, Donna Cross and Marilyn Robinson.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Martin (Brenda) of Swartz Creek; her grandchildren, Stephen Martin of Swartz Creek and Alyssa Foo (Wladimir) of Swartz Creek; her great grandchildren, Adlana, Cadogan and Egan Foo; and her siblings, David Briggs (Ruth) of Traverse City and Naomi Fuller of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
