With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Brown Jones of Swartz Creek, Michigan, born in Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl William and Mabel Evelyn Brown (Clements); her husband Leroy William Jones; her son Sheldon Jones; her grandson Robby Millard; her sons-in-law, William Ayers and Edgar Summers; and her siblings, Charles, Doc, Calvin Brown, Doris Meyer, Jean Davis and Peggy Champagne.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Lee Stainton (Daniel) of Swartz Creek, Jean Evelyn Ayers of New Port Richey, FL, Maurine Kay Summers of Flint, Delores Ann Sczepczenski of Swartz Creek, Tina Marie Millard of Houghton Lake, Drew Michael Jones (Karen) of Hudson, FL and David Mark Jones (Rhonda) of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and her great great grandchildren, Steve Derscha and Taylor Derscha. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
