He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Perry and Hildegard Hartel; his sons, Thomas, Phillip, Mark and James; his stepson William Mavredes; his brothers, Theodore and Robert; and his stepfather Glen Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Karin; his children, Nancy Perry of Traverse City, John of Fenton and Timothy of Cheboygan; his stepdaughter Nicole Balamucki of Summerfield, NC.; and his grandchildren, Patricia, Shanna, Sara, Tara, Nicholas, Matthew, Mazey, Taj, Ashley, Dominic, Taylor and Ethan. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
