He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Coverdill; and his parents, Russell Smith and Mildred Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Clark of Panama City, FL, Mark (Sue) of Vernon, Bryan of Grand Blanc and Phillip of Swartz Creek; his grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Holly and Nicole; and his great grandchild Ava Lynn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (132 E Broad St, Linden, MI 48451).
Those desiring may memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
