With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Lee Babe of Tawas City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Philip may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Philip touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel John Babe and Laverne Rose Babe (Briggs). He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Babe; and his children, Russell Farris (Paula), Melissa Hoezee, Eric Babe (Laura), Colleen Botos (George) and Jeffrey Babe (Lisa). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, along with 4 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home - Tawas City (416 Whittemore St, Tawas City, MI 48763). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
