He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Pietruck and Anna Pietruck (Komar); his wife Barbara Patrick; his son Earnest Patrick; his grandson Nicholas Patrick; and his sister Francis Jamrog.

He is survived by: his sons, Donald Patrick (Terri) and Phillip Patrick (Joanne Michaud); his grandchildren, Andrea Patrick (Todd Gibson) and Jeremy Patrick (Wiley Paylor); his great grandchildren, Ethan Patrick, Kali Gibson and Destiny Gibson; his nephew Daniel Jamrog; and his nieces, Linda Coen and Lori Wilson.
