She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Forbes and Willa Forbes; her siblings, Milton Forbes (Mickey) and Brenda Collins; her husband Robert Porter; her children, Robert Junior "Poochie" Porter, Michael Porter, Debra Porter, Cheryl Wilson (Preston) and Sandra Patterson (Ricardo); and her grandchildren, Aleah, Anthony, Melvin, Ricardo (Cody), Paige and Jalen. She was also cherished by five children.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association Private Family Services will be held.
