She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnnie Dickerson and Cleo Dickerson; her husband Roosevelt Adams (Whitey); her daughter Jackie; her sisters, Barbara, Betty, Penny and Kitty; her grandson Ryan; and her brother Calvin Dickerson (Bud).

She is survived by : her sons, Bruce Adams, Nick Adams (Nancy) and Philip Adams (Ashley); her grandchildren, Bruce Allen, Sean, Amy, Nicholas, Morgan, Nikki, Crystal, Ashley and Kyle; and her brother Bud. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
