She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Holzhueter and Dorothy Holzhueter (Beaudrie); her husband Dennis; her son David Newbert; her siblings, Lowell, Walter Holzhueter and Carol Ray; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Ray and Debbie Schlemmer.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Richter (David) of Dearborn and Dennis of Taylor, Michigan; her grandson Kyle Newbert (Kayla) of Fenton, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Aubree, Bentley and Emerson; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Holzhueter of De Soto, Kansas and Jeff Schlemmer of New Port Richey, Florida. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McNeil VFW Post 4422 (11590 Pine St, Taylor, MI 48180).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Clara's memory to Seedlings Braille Books for Children or Michigan Humane.
