He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Boike and Caroline Boike (Knope); his siblings, Florence, Leona, Shirley, Sophie and Don; his grandchildren, Terry Clay and Valencia; his great grandchild Aubrey; and his stepson Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Gaffney); his children, Debbie Johnson-Weeks, Edward Boike (Glenda), Terry Boike (Mandy), Cheryl Milbank (Ronald), Cynthia Wilson (Dennis), Anthony Boike, Christa Work and Michael Boike (Skye); and his stepsons, Reed Burke, David Burke and Jim Burke. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Taylor (9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A masonic service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
