We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 16, Ella Miriam Frances Geiss of Taylor, Michigan, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Erika and Doug; her brother Michael; her godparents, Nick and Frances; her great-grandparent Constance; her grandparent Corky; her grandchildren, Israel, David, Jacqueline, Mark, Germaine and Djènane; her aunts and uncles, Dawn, David W., Jennifer, David B., Edwin, Chantal, Djènane and Mark; and her cousins, Kyle, Austin, Jay, Ashleigh and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, the Geiss family asks that you make a donation to the following causes or organizations near and dear to Ella's heart: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital 7 EastFor Pediatric Hematology Oncology fund and the Nursing fund dedicated to the exceptional nursing staff in appreciation of the stellar care they provided to Ella throughout her treatment.
