She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Mayer (Kohler) and Wilhelm Mayer; her caregiver Jane; her children, Joseph V. Sears, Michael D. Sears (Diana) and Karissa Sears O'Neill (Sean O'Neill); her grandchildren, Bannon, Avery, Cameron, Rylie and Michael Ryan Sears (Heidi); her children, Anthony Ronchetto, Brandon Ronchetto, Dominic Ronchetto and Melissa J. Sears; her grandsons, Emory Sears, Spencer Sears and Jeff Sears (Joern Howind); her daughter Jennifer Sears; her grandchildren, Mia Sears and Katelynne Shanaver; her great grandchildren, Clayton, Dallas, Braxton, Nevaeh, Natalee, Lukas and Steven Robertson (Savannah); and her husband Vincent.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Taylor (9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (3965 Merrick St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation, http://www.htohhfoundation.org, or to The Arbor Day Foundation, http://www.arborday.org, honoring Jane's passion for gardening and her lifelong devotion to caring for others.
