He was predeceased by: his son Josh (Angela) of Southgate; his daughter-in-law Angela; his grandchildren, Tracie, Lilly, Ashley, Teegan, Dixie and Levi; his parents, Robert V. Matkin and Ruth M. Matkin; his sister Pamela Frantum; and his brothers-in-law, George Frantum and Jack Giraud.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lynda Giraud of Howell, Robert Matkin (Sharon) of Sturgis, Ron Matkin (Cheryl) of Farmington Hills and Sheryl Cash (Dan) of South Lyon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
