Joan Marie Buzo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Buzo (Taylor, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Buzo; and her parents, Sophie Kacala Gondek and Leopold Gondek. She is survived by: her children, David Buzo (Sharon), Maria Pangrazzi (Glenn) and Christina Bordnick (Christopher); her grandchildren, Amanda Woodward (Nate), David Buzo, II (Bradlee), Garett Pangrazzi (Josie), Michael Pangrazzi (Amy), Lauren Bordnick (Nick) and Drake Bordnick (Lydia); and her great grandchildren, Sophia Woodward, David Buzo III, Elizabeth Buzo, Cristiano Pangrazzi, Giavanna Pangrazzi, Luca Pangrazzi, Gemma Pangrazzi, Grayson Pangrazzi, Brooks Pangrazzi and Copeland Bordnick.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Taylor (9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A rosary was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Maria Goretti Parish (20710 Colgate St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church (3965 Merrick St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakview Cemetery (1032 N Main St, Royal Oak, MI 48067).
