Katalin E. Kovacs Obituary
We announce the death of Katalin E. Kovacs of Taylor, Michigan, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Katalin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Katalin will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Katalin will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Katalin’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea (Joe Henderson) and Erika (Tom David); and her grandchildren, Garrett, Regan, Delaney and Colin. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Molnar Funeral Home - Southgate (14032 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195). The lying in state was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Constance Catholic Church (21333 Kinyon St, Taylor, MI 48180). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
