He was predeceased by: his children, Dale Nicholas and Debra Kay Showler; and his parents, Claribell Showler and Linton Showler. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Steven and Dawn (Keith); his grandchildren, Kristel Showler, Derek Showler, Katelyn Niedergang (Scott) and Olivia Suski; his great grandchildren, Anastasia Showler-Little and Forrest Niedergang; and his brothers, Fred and Robert Showler (Bob).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Southminster Presbyterian Church (21845 Wick Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
