It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Rakes of Taylor, Michigan, born in Oceana, West Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Delbert Sizemore. She is survived by : her husband Richard Rakes; her sons, Shawn Rakes (Cheryl) and Richard Rakes, Jr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Mitchem, James and Helen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Huron Valley Humane Society in memory of Mary and her beloved Ladybug and Zoey.
