He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Torchia and Carmella Torchia (Basta); his wife Louise Torchia; and his siblings, Frank Torchia, Josephine Bartolomei, Elizabeth Holko and Mary Angela Torchia.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Stanley of Southgate, MI and Michael Torchia, Jr. (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandsons, Raymond Stanley of Southgate, MI, Michael Torchia III of Wyandotte, MI and Brandon Torchia of Wyandotte, MI; and his daughter-in-law Rita Torchia of Wyandotte, MI.
