He was predeceased by: his wife Robin Gapa; his parents, Earl Gapa and Christine Gapa; and his siblings, Christopher Gapa (Kathleen), Nancy Gapa and Bernadette Furton (Tim).
He is survived by: his siblings, John Gapa (late Itha), Karen Winkle (Bill), Tim Gapa (Naomi Shaheen), Bridget Gapa and Ann Marie Gapa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home (23750 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180).
