It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Tyler of Taylor, Michigan, born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Osborne and Pearl Osborne (Yeary); her husbands, Paul E. Tyler and Robert E. Elser; and her siblings, Lillian Ellison (Coolidge), Mary Laginess (Gerald), Barbara Bryant (Clifford) and Ray Osborne (Beulah).
She is survived by : her children, Kim Slater (Danny), Brenda Burkett (late Jerry), Paula Miller (Greg), Paul Tyler, Jr. (Analiza) and Rae Lynn "Charlie" Sommers (Clifford); and her grandchildren, Kimberly Knight, James Scott McCollum, Justin Slater, Savanna McCann (Jason), Janet Batchelor (Jeremy), Jessica McCollum, Nathan Burkett (Leanna), Stephanie Mondro, Lucas Burkett, Amanda Mulder (Drew), Christopher Tyler, Melinda Miller, Joseph Chevalier (Michelle), Brett Chevalier, Christina Sloane (Ernest), Angela Miller, Russell Sommers and Nikki Cunningham. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many loving Nieces & Nephews.
