She was predeceased by: her son Michael Simms; her granddaughter Jessica Simms; and her brother Gary Green. She is survived by: her son James Simms; her grandchildren, Zachary Simms, Michael Simms and Rachael Simms; and her siblings, Patty Green of Paul James and PJ Green.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services (9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
