He was predeceased by: his parents, William Way and Alta Way (Howe); his son William Robert Way; his grandson Willie Way; and his siblings, David Way, James Way and Jean Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Knott; his children, Michael Way (Amanda) and Tonya Salisbury (Daniel); his grandchildren, Justin Way, Samantha Way, Bobby Way (Ariele), Michael Way, Christopher Way and Daniel Salisbury (Shae); his great grandchildren, Alana Salisbury and Bryson Salisbury; and his sister Carol Gaston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the to Wounded Warriors Project.
