She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Barnett and Mollie Barnett (Turner); and her brothers, David, Michael, Eddie Barnett, Timmy and Jimmy Barnett.

She is survived by: her husband Mark Strand of Tecumseh; her sister Annette McAlister (Charles) of Hurricane; her children, J. R. Hunt (Faith) of Adrian, Will Hunt (JJ) of Onsted and Marki Smith of Tecumseh; her grandchildren, Kaylee Gonzalez (Danny), Garrett Hunt (Hannah), Chelsea Hunt, Logan Hunt, Kendra Smith, Kamden Smith, Alex Hunt, Karli Smith and Charlotte Briskey; and her great grandchildren, Mattie and Haisleigh.
