He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Gilbert Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Gilbert (Gabe); his mother Jane Gilbert; his siblings, Thomas Gilbert Jr. (Lisa) and Caitlin Vuocolo (Paul); and his nephews, Austin Gilbert (Alicia), Alexander Gilbert (Tiffany) and Luke Vuocolo.
Memorial contributions in honor of Daniel may be made to the Lenawee Humane Society.
