He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his siblings, Bob, Jr. Carls (Nancy), Jeff, Sr. Carls (Linda), Mike Carls (Tammy) and Jill Green (Larry); his brother-in-law Steve Smith (Cathy); his mother-in-law Joanne Smith; his nieces and nephews, Bob III Carls (Sara Hawkins), Todd Carls, Jeff Carls, Jr., Jon Green (Madison), Kyle Smith (Meagan), Jamie Henson (Brady), Christina Blankenship (Kyle), Kristin Hendricks (Joe), Jessica Ferrier (Tyler), Amanda Carls and Shelby Kysar (Chase); his aunt Susan Brown (John); his adoptive parents, Chris, Stacey, Charlette and Mason Kleinow; and his pets, Petey and Indie.
