She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Arnold and Irene Lewis (Kortas); her husband Gerald Leland Sommers; her daughter Sandra Davis (Kenneth); her sister Catherine Spence (Robert); and her brother-in-law Raymond Campbell.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Sommers (Linda Clark) of Britton, MI and Bruce Sommers (Patrice) of Manchester, MI; her sister Janice Campbell; and her pet Suzie. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes (313 W Pottawatamie St, Tecumseh, MI 49286). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (506 N Union St, Tecumseh, MI 49286).
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
