Shyla Grace Yarhouse Obituary
We announce the death of Shyla Grace Yarhouse of Tecumseh, Michigan, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Shyla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Thomas and Cecelia Thomas (Nellis); her husband Roger Alan Yarhouse; and her brother Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, Jane Yarhouse (David) of Tecumseh, MI, Jenny Oberst (Mike) of Tecumseh, MI and Mark Yarhouse (Lori) of Winfield, IL; her grandchildren, Ryan Fink (Jessica) of Dallas, NC, Megan Thompson (Alex) of Clinton, MI, Lynnea Yarhouse of Atlanta, GA, Peter Yarhouse (Mollie) of Chesapeake, VA, David Oberst (Grace Musielewicz) of Tecumseh, MI and Celia Yarhouse of Winfield, IL; and her great grandchildren, Alex Jr., Shyla and Benjamin Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Point Evangelical Free Church (4612 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in honor of Shyla may be made to Hospice of Lenawee, where she served for many years.
